Stories

Where would we be without stories? If you are a storyteller, then at some point you will participate in the art of a Geofiction. Short stories that are woven as part of a Geofiction can inspire a deeper creative depth for a Geofiction.

There is no doubt that one of the most popular and successful geofictionists was JRR Tolkien. His skillful craft of weaving stories to create Ea (Middle Earth) is legendary. What started out as a hobby to amuse himself became one of most famous fictional works of the twentieth century.

As you research and write about your geofiction, consider carefully the mediums that you want to use to express your ideas. While pictures, descriptions and explanations are useful for documenting your ideas, stories will help to enrich your fantasies and bring everything you've been developing, together.

You don't need to write a novel. While some geofictions will go on to be the blood and life of some people, many geofictions are simply created for the fun of the creator. Your stories can be just a few paragraphs, insights into the minds of those that live or observe your world.
