Fictional Spareparts
JPWB's fictional spareparts are about sharing idea's to help other World Builders to create their worlds or spark their creativity.
The Spareparts is the place for members to contribute their short fictional works which are not entire geofictions but rather a single page containing a creative idea on one facet of World Building. For example, a submission could be about a ten legged spider found in very cold climates. Spareparts are often short descriptions or brief notes. Sometimes they may be complete and well written articles backed up with diagrams or pictures.
Sparepart submissions may have been created for a member's geofiction but that member may also like the idea of sharing their writing with others. The submission does not have to exist in a Member's Geofiction to be included in Spareparts.
If you submit an idea to the Spareparts you won't mind if someone else wants to use the idea. In fact you want someone else to like it so much, that they will include a link to your page from their Geofiction providing you with the credit for the inclusion. For instance, if I had a very cold planet, I may want to link to the page on the ten legged spider citing it as one of the thousands of animals that roam the cold world's surface.
Spareparts can be completed works about Races, Fauna, Flora, Gods, Characters, Objects, Spells, Magical Items, Theories and anything else that you may want to write about that can be used in World Building.
Submissions to the Spareparts may have seperate and varied copyright restrictions. Please review the copyright on each submission provided by the contributor.
